Nooteboom Pendel-X low-loader with Van Holten Roll-Over canopy for Spedition Bender

Spedition Bender from Freudenberg in Germany recently brought into use the first of two new 2-axle Pendel-X low-loaders for the transport of trains. Spedition Bender has more than 100 tractors and over 140 semi-trailers in their fleet and they are active in many sectors of the transport industry, including special transport. Bender has since early 2000 regularly been investing in Nooteboom transport solutions, such as semi-low-loaders and flatbed semi-trailers. The latest additions to the fleet are 2-axle double extendible Pendel-X low-loaders, equipped with a Roll-Over canopy structure of Dutch specialists Van Holten. These special transport combinations are predominantly used by Spedition Bender to transport trains from the Siemens factory in Krefeld, Germany to Bruges in Belgium.

Nooteboom Trailer Service opens first German branch in Bochum

On Monday 10 October Nooteboom Trailer Service has opened their first Service Centre in Germany. Nooteboom Trailer Service GmbH is located in the province of North Rhine-Westphalia, just off the A40 and A43 motorway junction, exit Bochum/Harpen.

Nooteboom 3-axle PX2 low-loader on 245 tyres offers lowest pendle axle assembly in market

The latest Nooteboom PX2 low-loader on 245 tyres has an extremely low axle assembly. The use of 245 tyres means the axle assembly is approx.10 cm lower than on a low-loader with 285 tyres.

Latest Nooteboom 5-axle Telestep Ballasttrailer for Steil Kranarbeiten

Steil Kranarbeiten from Trier in Germany has recently expanded their fleet quite considerably with the addition of several vehicles, including a 7-axle MCO-PX semi low-loader and two 5-axle Telestep Ballasttrailers. Steil Kranarbeiten has various branches in Germany, France and Luxembourg and the Steilgroep offer a wide range of services: specialised crane services, special transport, recovery and towing, access platform and forklift truck hire. Over the last few years Steil has invested heavily in their transport fleet, adding some 15 Nooteboom ballast trailers, Multitrailers and OSDS semi low-loaders.
